They're real funky all dressed up like this - they belong on a big white wall in an ultra-modern minimalistic loft-type room, the only spot of colour in the place.

btw I'm not placing a link on the old blog - you'll find me hereTerrihttp://misterri.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15498010.post-2057362456285179232009-07-28T10:13:36.133-04:002009-07-28T10:13:36.133-04:00JR, actually, it did start as an infrared trailcam...JR, actually, it did start as an infrared trailcam picture.

Shadow, we have evidence!!

Aniket, this was an infrared picture taken at night by a trailcam. The deer was close to the unit, so it got washed out. I isolated the background, turned it orange, then applied photo shop effects. Yeah, the haiku plays a supporting role. ;)

Meghan, they do bite.

Sarah, yes, antlers are quickly growing now! And I was thinking about cycles and seasons and how the deer show them so starkly.

Catvibe, whenever August hits, I feel the same way. And this year, I think it's going to be way worse, because here in Pennsylvania, we haven't even had a heat wave. This season is cold for us. Without a heat wave, I can't feel eager for the weather to cool off.

Bebo, thank you! There is hope and sadness interwoven.

Nothingman, it was an ocean ripple effect on the background, then a frosted glass effect on the entire image.

Walking Man, that's a great way to look at it. Ever dip makes room for something new to fill it.

Mona, those are wonderful lines!
