I have such fond memories of my Dad ...I= Ice cream

I have such fond memories of my Dad singing "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream" everytime we'd have some. But what is deeper and more significant to me is hearing the stories about how, when he was a boy, ice cream was a treat that his family enjoyed only occasionally. Ice cream was expensive, and they had to go to the ice cream parlor to enjoy it. (No cartons of it in the freezer at home.) So, to this day, whenever I start to eat ice cream, I feel so lucky (as well as a great sense of gratitude) that I can enjoy ice cream whenever, whereever I'd like. And I don't take that for granted.Ainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08402176500997528105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15498010.post-21014844989812925712009-11-20T09:21:05.728-05:002009-11-20T09:21:05.728-05:00H = Hominy.
