September is the month of spiders
honey that drowns the fly
twigs dropping life too early
books where the hero dies

  5. Hi Jason,

I hope it's okay to put this message here... I don't have many of the emails I used to have.

I started a new blog. I need to be happy again. To write again. I hope you (and Aine!) can visit.

Erratic Thoughts, funny how the years are gearing up.

Petty Witter, thanks for adding some positive to the mix. =)

Chris, very good to see you back! I hope you've been well, but it sounds like you may have had some rough patches.

  11. Szelsofa, September has probably always been mixed for me. But I find its kindness lacking now. It's a time of reversals and breaking. Probably tied to the end of summer.

Joaquin, I feel like a short, rhyming poem can't be beat for impact.

Vesper, I could see the edge of this appealing to you. There's something very nice about venting it.

  12. Well, maybe the hero stopped to eat those poisonous mushrooms caught so beautifully in a moment out of time (wow, awesome picture and poem!)
