Game Friday: Ray of Light

How's everyone feeling today? Another week is signed, sealed, and delivered. As Paul McCartney said, let it be. (Amen, brother.)

So, today's topic is your personal ray of light. What little (or not so little) something are you looking forward to later today or tomorrow? What has your juices of anticipation flowing? If you've been feeling down, then I hope that ray of light is all the brighter.

For me: Aine and I and the offspring are driving up to the cabin through the Poconos. The mountains should be moving to full color. Since we normally drive up Friday night in the dark, it will be a treat to immerse in the miles of painted forests. (Also, I'm looking forward to seeing our older daughter ride her new dirt bike. Vroom!)

What plans have your happy sensors tingling?

Have a well deserved trip to the Poconos. I anticipated waking up breathing and it came to pass so my little daily ray of sunshine worked out just right.

We drove through the Poconos last weekend and the leaves sure were vibrant. They'll probably be even better this week. I hope to someday have a cabin to retreat to. :)

I imagine my hockey game on Sunday night will get me going :)

I'll ditto you, and add another.
My happy sensors tingle at the thought of opening my eyes in our soft, warm cabin bed Sunday morning, and discovering that it's past 9:00 am! ;)

Decorating the house for Halloween, after which my daughter and I will make some Mexican hot chocolate, and I'll read a few more chapters of our book to her... she's 17years old, and still allows her mama to read to her while we sit and relax, isn't that sweet of her?

:-)

May you, Aine, and the little ones awaken to all the magic surrounding you, especially the magic of being family.

love,
me

That sounds completely magical. I love that you drive up at night so you awaken to the beauty...

I am going to a soccer game with my son and a dear friend is meeting us. I always look forward to seeing him. He makes me happy.

Have a great weekend.
much love

Jason and Aine...A new dirt bike?? Sounds fun!

Tomorrow we are heading to Benton for the Pumpkin Fest. The leaves make the trip there a feast for the eyes. Craft vendors, pumpkin patch, lotsa food...homemade soups, pumpkin cheescake & apple dumplings with homemade ice-cream. There is always great fiddle playing and banjo picking. (Levon Helm style) But, most of all, my husband and I are looking forward to the hayride with our grandson. Have a great holiday weekend, everyone!

By the time the weekend's here, I'm too mentally drained to do much of anything. I'll probably start winterizing my surroundings. Sounds kind of cold, I know.

I love the Poconos one of the best things about visiting the ex in-laws in Bethlehem. I shall miss those mountains.

I just have sunday for a weekend, the rest are working days. Its like that in India!

The whole day I am going to rest and laze about, and attend a party in a five star hotel in the evening !

Yawn! Parties are so boring, but have to attend, since its a staff party!

I am late again and the weekend has already gone. I always wanted to ride a dirt bike. I've enjoyed riding 2 stroke bikes. Great fun.

No fun weekends for me for a a few months now. Planning to quit my current job in a couple of weeks. Gave an interview to a small firm. Will tell more about it if I get the job. If I get it, am sure Aine and Catherine would be real proud. :P
