What lovely and so peaceful poem. I love it. BTW, Im Empress Melanie the Malleable of Pease Pottage so you too will have to curtsy to me :-). I like your title too. I blog hopped from susan's and found a very talented poet which I already knew. Hope you don't mind my friend? Stop by mine again but remember to bow.
BD, thanks so much for the kind words and the link from your blog. I've linked to you also. Susan's place is wonderful place to meet, isn't it? *bowing*
Terri, we just have to keep telling ourselves it's coming.

Calming & soothing especially for me, Jason. Thank you.
Jaye, perhaps. I'm ready for something new.
JLB, yeah, good point! We really have had nothing around here, having we?
Angel, thanks, my friend. :)
Kate, what a nice thing to say! I'm honored to share it with you.
Mermaid, in a way, perhaps.
Susan, I'm glad I could give you a moment's peace.

Me too ;)
Although I suspect I'll need to wait a bit longer than you for spring.
Great photo and lovely words, Jason - strong imagery.

Shameless, much appreciated. :)
Enjoyed the imagery and sounds of my friend the wind. Particularly liked these lines "I touched/Stillness pounding" and later "listened for spring."
Cathartic. To have the wind as a companion is conducive for listening. ^_^
Thank you for dropping by my site. Much obliged. Cheers.
I can feel you listening.
Your poetry always touches me.
loved this!
I spoke into the wind
The wind answered
I saw
Constellations ancient
Renewed
I awoke
When the wind had gone
I touched
Stillness pounding
Like a storm
I spoke into the wind
And listened for spring
Amazing
