The Remembrance Series: When I walk among old graves, I think about our voices struggling to endure. Someday not even stone will protect us from being forgotten. Yet, we can give these voices a little more life in a way they never could have imagined.
So please take a moment with me to remember...

That one is beautiful Jason, thank you for sharing. You know, reading your blog is starting to put me on the lookout for cemetaries? It's funny how we can drive past them every day, and never stop in for a look around.
So glad to see one of these again. I love that inscription on her tombstone. Good advice.
And I salute you for enduring with your own inscriptions on the web.
I too never pass a cemetery with
the same disregard.
lovely photos Jason, they'd make a great book
now I shall read the before posts I've missed.
With such a unique passion, you really should write a book about this, Jason. :-)
It is through the memory of others that we live on ... that is why we do family history
Thanks for the beautiful picture. I'm sure one of these days I'll open your blog and see the marker of one of my ancestors staring back at me!
Jason what a beautiful picture. I too love to walk in graveyards. The saying on the stone is a moving one and I know it well.
It is very inspiring.

JLB, cemeteries are well worth the stop, I assure you. So many stories....
Jaye, thanks for taking the walk with me.
Mermaid, they made me convert to Blogger Beta and you got turned anonymous. Sorry about that. Thank you for the kind words, my friend.
Kate, thank you for saying so. :)
Sorry everyone! The new blogger conversion did strange things to your comments. I remember most of who is who, but I'll just say thank you! Hopefully, your comments will be straight from here on out.
