Spring is finally underway in the far northern reaches of Pennsylvania. Would you like to take a walk in the mountains? Here's a breath of sun to tuck away as the work week begins.
Listening to the sound of the river, PINK like flesh pounding with the heartbeat of dawn.
Roots washed in the trickling cold, RED for the pounding chase in the night.
Majestic over hills of moss, YELLOW cuts deep and sees what we would hide.
Tipping in the gusts, WHITE burns with the purity of love unyielding.
Twisting from the ashes of the world, GREEN for the victory of every living thing.

Gorgeous photos and colors; I'm missing Spring in central PA now, so thanks for showing me something quite similar :)
A lovely post Jason - love the trillium especially.
So nice.
Mayflower, trillium, dog-tooth violet ( sometimes called), Dutchman's Breeches...can't remember the last.
Great photography, Jason.
I especially like this line: "Twisting from the ashes of the world, GREEN for the victory of every living thing."
wonderful pictures Jason....especially appreciated this morning as I woke up to SNOW on the ground again this morning!!
Jason, I simply love the green picture. The detail is beautiful.
Yellow is usually what does me in. I remember making "salads" out of dandelions and buttercups in the backyard as a kid. Yellow is summer.
yes. lovely. thanks for taking me on the walk with you.
I love that last photo. The green is so vibrant! :)
Coming here always cheers me up.
Thx Jason.
You should frame the green one. It's like abstract art. Thanks for sharing these.
Lovely shots, especially the trilluim, they are really expensive collectors plants here.
What a coincidence - Green is my favourite colour.
I shared these pictures with my 20 month old son. He tried to sniff the computer screen. Very nice.
Your kid tried to smell the screen? Aw. Maybe kids aren't so bad after all.
The succession of flowers drooping caught my eye. The first stands tall, fresh, reborn, and the last is almost touching the ground, kissing its inevitable death till the next bloom.
The last photo is especially symbolic of winding paths starting from and leading to the same source.
I wonder if you are an Earth sign. Why do I remember this?
Wow... especially the last one. Gorgeous shots, great words with them!
I'll miss the New England foliage when I leave here for the south. Nice that you can appreciate your surroundings. Professional looking photos!
Much easier to go along on your walk than take my crutches out and trip over tree roots - thanks! I thought 'white' had it but 'green' sealed the deal. Gorgeous!
gawjiss dude! i love taking these virtual walks with my blog-friends!
