Next Wednesday, I'm throwing it down. Short fiction contest #7 at The Clarity of Night.
Do you have what it takes to join the esteemed company of past winners like Jamie Ford who just sold his first novel in a two-hand, spinning, over the head slam dunk?
Who cares! It's a blast no matter how you slice it. Make new friends and hang with other writers. The community spirit is way better than the prizes. (Well, except cold hard cash really isn't so bad either.)
Tune in Wednesday! In the meantime, get greased and limber, and spread the word.

oh, for the fun!
I hope to participate!
Looking forward to it Jason!!!
I'm having Author's Weekend on my blog over the weekend next weekend with Patricia Wood and John Elder Robison. But I think the two events can be complimentary: Yours--a thoughtful journey into the creative process; mine--a fun, humorous social!
Let's party!!!!
WOOOHOOOO!!!
Awesome. Can't wait!
Szelsofa, I'm eager to see what your mind conjures.
Church Lady, party indeed! Looking forward to it. :)
Josh, great to see you! It's going to be an evocative picture.
count me in once again. :)
It's Wednesday right? I don't want to miss this! I have to leave for Barbados on Friday so I want to make sure I can participate beforehand!
You know I'm in. Yay!
I can't wait to read all the new stories. Wish I had time to write one though.......
C.S., very cool!
Ello, yes, the picture and contest announcement will be up on Wednesday. You will have until the following Wednesday to send your entry.
Jaye, maybe another novel idea will come of it. :)
Shesawriter, it's so fascinating to see what everyone comes up with.
It's the middle of NaNoWriMo, but I can't not participate. I haven't missed one of your contests yet!
I'm in - I think - of course that's if my NaNo stories take flight over the next day or two - I just saw this announcement from Church Lady's blog - and I can't resist a short story contest (or is it a longer than short story?) Either way - I'll check it out and see what I can come up with - woohoo - party time - lol - E :)
