ROTFL!! LOVE this Jason!
Happy Thanksgiving to you Too!

AND to answer Sarah,
yes, turkeys DO fly.
They roost in trees and they make SUCH a racket!!THey are big, and their wing span is immense...so when they fly between branches, you hear a lot of crashing and cracking of limbs.
Amazing!

The Domesticated turkey Cannot fly, is dumber and were bred to be that way. and They are the ones you see as white birds.

I love the fact that wild turkeys travel though our yard ...the most I"ve counted so far is 40!

I love living in the country.
Can you tell?

I got a chuckle out of these. I like, Shhh, come on, let's just flip him the bird.

Happy Thanksgiving to you over in Pennsylvania, probably not far from my family. I heard it was a nice day there in the East. We had glorious snow here.

Thanks, Michele...I get all my info about turkeys from the WKRP Thanksgiving episode.

But your answer makes more sense. ;)

Kaycie, I do like to joke around. I should show it more here. ;)

Szelsofa, thanks, my friend. :)

Jaye, rest assured, no turkeys were harmed in the creation of this post. The turkeys outwitted me this year. Frank is loving life.

Sarah, dang, you spooked him. There goes dinner. :) I see that Michele let you know that wild turkeys fly. They're amazingly quick for such a large bird, but yes, they do tend to smash through the trees.

Anti-Wife, I hope you had a great day!

Church Lady, I hope you and your family had a great time. :)

Michele, thanks! I see you know the ways of the turkey. :) I'm amazed how they can land in a tree and nearly disappear. They really know what they're doing.

Quoinmonkey, snow would have been nice. Yes, it was a very warm, odd day in Pennsylvania. A wind storm blew in late.

Sarah, I remember that episode! The pain on their faces was hilarious when they described what happened.

Omygod, you did it again. I saw the first picture and couldn't tell the scale and thought they were weird beetles. So did you set them a place?

You sick twisted thing you! That was funny, but I can't look at the leftovers in my fridge the same way I used to now.

Quoibler, Frank's an okay guy. :)

Shameless, I get such a kick out of it when the animals face the camera and strike poses. I just can't help myself.

Joanne, Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

Ello, you too. I hope you had a lovely time. (Yeah, I like to do comedy too.) :)

TIV, turkeys are hilarious, aren't they? I'd love to have them over.

Electric Orchid Hunter, don't worry. The leftovers are at peace now. ;)

Angel, thanks! I hope things are lovely where you are.

LOL at tiv's beetles comment, because that's what I thought they were at first, too.

But I also wanted to say, I wish my turkeys could meet these turkeys and see what it's really like to be wild and free ; - ).

Ybonesy, yeah, those turkeys are way too comfortable. Somebody spoiled them.
