Solstice

Stars
pinprick
the enormity of night
circling
deep
the Earth-wearied north

miles
endless
I kneel
and silence
hardens the ground
where I sleep

Inconsequential, I agree. :) I love doing pictures with a bit of text or a poem.

Susan, I always look forward to your visits. :)

Mermaid, it's our small, but powerful denial of the darkness.

Anna, have a wonderful holiday with your family. :)
