Leaving on a Jet Plane

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...except unlike the song, I DO know when I'll be back again.

Saturday.

While I'm away, I'll be checking in and visiting in the evenings. I'll also try to maintain my posting schedule, although Monday's post will be in the evening rather than first thing at midnight. I thought I'd try my hand at offering some thoughts on a technical point of writing.

Wish me luck! My family is spending the week with Mickey in Florida, and I'm a little afraid about burnout. On the bright side, maybe I'll get to meet Ariel.

Oh man, have fun. I wish we could take our kids to Disneyland.

We live in Omaha, so we're about as faraway from Disney, the beach, warmth, etc. as possible.

And thanks for stopping by my blog. :)

Hmm, weigh 'fun' against 'scary' - I think you'll at least enjoy the time away. Hit Epcot, that's kind of cool, right? I'm still in awe of someone going on vacation.

Damnit - Molly is me. In a sense; you know what I mean. I have to get that to change.

Yes, on the bright side... :-)

Have a great time, Jason. Live the moment!

Suspend your disbelief and you'll never want to come home again.

Enjoy your time, Jason. Bring back a little sunshine for the rest of us. ;)

Oh have fun! And say hi to Goofy for me, will you?! (to each their own, right? You get Ariel, after all.)

Ariel, huh?
LOL
What happened to Sleeping Beauty?

Have a wonderful time!
And looking forward to your return.
But take your time.
Usually you need a vacation after the vacation when you go to any major theme park.
*grin*

Look at it this way--when you get home you'll have plenty of material for a horror story.

Seriously, though, have a great time. Say hi to Mickey for me.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! We survived the first day, but wow, it was a long one. Up at 4 in the morning, flight at 7:00, at the hotel (Port Orleans) at 11:00 then off to the Magic Kingdom. Like idiots, we stayed for the extended hours and got back a 11:00 p.m. Yikes. And to boot, I have a lovely, lovely cold. I thought my front sinuses where going to blow out my forehead on the plane's descent like the dude in alien.

Oh, and I DID get to meet Ariel. Pictures forthcoming (sadly, not with me in them). ;)

P.S. "Molly," a.k.a. Livewire, have you switched to the new blogger? Once I did that, my name starting showing correctly when I logged on with my google account.

have you been to the tower of terror?

Anne, I know you're going to kill me, but I'm not sure I'm going to ride that one. You can spin the living crap of me, but I'm not keen on the drop rides. We'll see. Wednesday or Thursday we plan on visiting MGM.

you HAVE to ride it!! it's not that bad. really. it's cool rather than scary.
